Adding/Modifying Stuff
How do I add an item or service to offer?
Click on the Add/Modify Stuff tab and then either the "Add an item" or "Add a service" button. From there, select "I am offering this item/service". The more things you add, the more likely you will receive the swaps you want!

How do I modify or remove my stuff?
Click on the Add/Modify Stuff tab. If you have things listed, you should see two options listed on the left side of each item - Modify and Remove. Click on "Modify" to modify it. If you want to remove it, click on "Remove". Another way to modify your item is when you are viewing your own item, click on the "Modify this item" button located at the bottom of the page.
How do I make my things available for buying?
When adding or modifying something, click on the "Open to Selling" checkbox. Then, enter in the amount that you want to sell it for. If the amount includes the shipment cost, be sure to mention that in your description. You will notice that a "Buy" will be associated with your item when members are viewing it.
Can I upload an image for my item?
Yes - When adding or modifying your own item, click on the Browse button (at the bottom) and select the image you want to upload from your computer. The size of the image must be under four megabytes. We support .jpg, .bmp, .png, and .gif image types.
Can I change the image that I already uploaded?
Yes - Modify the item that you want to change the image for and re-upload the new image by clicking on "Update Image" and then, "Apply changes".

Is there any cost to swapping?
No, there is no cost for swapping your stuff online with us!
How do I make a swap offer?
When viewing an item, click on the "Make a swap offer" button. You will be asked to select your item(s) that you want to swap with. Once the offer is submitted, the member will be notified via email about your swap offer. The offer will be valid for seven days. If there is no response from the other member, the swap offer will expire. You can review your own swap offers anytime by clicking on "Swap Offers", then "My Offer".
How do I check for any swap offers that I may have received?
There are two ways. One way is that you will be notified via email when a member sends you a swap offer. The other way is when you log in into our site, click on "Swap Offers" and click on the "Offers From Others". Upon logging into our site, you should notice a "star" image next to Pending Trades at the top of the page, indicating a new/updated swap offer.
Are swap offers negotiable?
Yes. Each time you receive a swap offer, you will have the opportunity to make a counter-offer by clicking on the "counteroffer" button.
What do those icons mean in my Swap Offers?
Below is the list of icons that represent the state of your pending swap.
- New swap request received from a member - Waiting for member to respond to your offer/request. - Swap offer accepted by member - Swap offer declined by member - Swap offer cancelled by member
Note: A swap offer is active up to seven days. After that, it will be automatically cancelled and removed from our system.
Swap History
How do I complete/accept a swap offer?
When viewing your swap offer, click on the "Accept" button. You will be prompted to review the offer and shipping address. Once accepted, both members are obligated to fulfill that offer and ship the agreed item(s) to the given shipping address. A swap confirmation and member's shipping address will be emailed to you. You can view your swapping history by clicking on the Swap History tab.
Where do I ship the items to?
You are responsible for shipping the items directly to the member. When a swap offer has been accepted, both members will receive email notifications with the shipping address information included. Also, you can get the member's shipping address by viewing the completed offer from the Completed tab.
What about shipping costs?
Normally, you are responsible for the shipping costs of your own items. However, this can be negotiable between you and the other member. If you want the other member to pay for your shipping costs, be sure to specify the shipping cost for your item.
Click on "My Profile", click on View Feedbacks, then click on Awaiting Feedback. Click on the to submit a feedback.
Are feedbacks reversible?
No. Once a feedback has been submitted, it cannot be reverted.

How do I change my email address?
Click on My Profile, update your email address and click on the 'Apply Changes' button.
How do I update my shipping address?
Click on My Profile, update your address and click on the 'Apply Changes' button.
How do I change my profile photo?
Click on My Profile, scroll down to "Profile Photo", click on the "Browse" button, select your photo from your computer, and click on the 'Apply Changes' button.
How do I add or change my Ebay ID?
Click on My Profile, scroll down to "Ebay Account" and type in your Ebay ID. For verification purposes, we will send an email to your given Ebay account. You will be required to reply within a certain time or your Ebay ID will be invalidated.
How do I stop receiving your emails regarding to SwapTreasures's news and updates?
Click on My Profile, scroll down to "Email Options" and un-check the box next to "News and Updates". Keep in mind that you will still continue to receive emails pertaining to swap offers, requests, and questions from other members.
Points System
What is the Points System?
It is our innovative and unique way of rewarding our members with points when certain things are done on our site. The more active you are on our site, the more points you accumulate. As you build up points, you will gain a new star. Thus, this will help you build a good reputation and receive more swap offers.
How do I check my points?
From the top-left of the page (under the SwapTreaures logo), click on My Points.
Are my points worth any value?
Of course! The more points you earn, the more stars you will gain. With stars to represent yourself, other members will gain trust and want to swap more with you. In addition, we typically give away prizes for members who earn the most points at the end of each month!
How can I earn points?

Submit a feedback on member - 5 points

What do the stars mean?
The number of stars represent the points ('All-Time') earned on our site. As a new member, you start out with no stars. The most you can earn are five stars.
(no stars) = 5 points or less
= 6-20 points
= 21-100 points
= 101-300 points
= 301-500 points
= 501+ points
Can I lose points?
Yes, both your monthly and all-time points will be deducted by two points for each item you remove from the site. Also if you abuse the Points system, your points will be deducted.
